As a part of CSR activity, Lotus Business School takes initiative to spread awareness about the importance of hygiene for women’s health. This program mainly focuses on creating awareness and guiding women and adolescent girls from rural area about importance of hygiene for their health.
Under this initiative we conducted first awareness program at Government School of Chandkhed on 9th March 2022. Female staff member of the school along with their 170 girl students benefited by the guidance of Gynecologist, Dr. Madhuri Kanse about the Importance of Hygiene for Women’s Health.
In the next month, we organized awareness program at Jambhe Gram Panchayat on 13th April 2022. The program commenced with the general awareness of Health and Sanitation by Dr. Madhuri Badgujar.
Our students play a major role in making this program successful. Students are equally participating and hence realizing their responsibilities towards society. Kanchan Gavit, first year student has arranged and coordinated session on “Importance of Hygiene for Women’s Health” at her native, Modalpada district Nandurbar with the help of Anganwadi Sevika and ASHA worker of the village. Women got benefitted by the session conducted by Dr. Tushar Patel( Head officer, Modalpada).
